Qari Waheed Zafar

Qari waheed Zafar starts reciting Quran-e Majeed from the age of 6 or 7. At the same time he started reciting Naat and Hifz of the Holy Quran as well. By the age of 9, he had learned Quran-e-Majeed by heart and had also learned Qirat. The honor for Durood-o-Salam inside the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) in 1987 is the most cherished event of His life. Qari waheed zafar participated in many international competitions. By the grace of Allah He won the first competition in 1969 in Malaysia for Pakistan and thereafter in Libya in 1979. In 1980, he won a competition of Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Majeed in Saudi Arabia. Then again in 1981 he won a competition in Syria. He started Radio programs in 1970 and the first program that he did was “Sar Chashma-e- Hidayat”. This program provided him the various opportunities to proceed further in this field and helped bringing him to the limelight. After that he did many programs on television as well although radio gave him the greatest exposure. In 1972, He read his first Naat, which is Arba-e- Qaseeda (Allah Hu Allah Hu) on television, which got very popular all over the world. Some of his other popular Naats are Fasloon Ko takaluf hai hum say agar, Zahe Muqadar and Qaseeda-Burda Shareef. Many Naats Khawans have got training from him including Umm-e-Habiba, Roshan Ara Samad, Javed Akhtar and Khalid Hussain. They are renowned Naat Khawans of today.

Owais Raza Qadri was born in Karachi. He was known as Naat khwan and famous very fast in all over the world and especially in the middle east Awais Raza Qadri has travelled widely as a Naat khawan. Owais Raza Qadri Started his religious activity in very early age. Day and day after he is very famous of his speaking naats. In Hyderabad at India more than 200,000 people attended one of his performances which were creating the record for most number of attendees in a Mehfil-e-Naat in the world. In the course of his performances, he advises young people to acquire adequate knowledge of Islam and to recite at least one ruku of the Holy Quran Kanzul Iman with translation.
